If you are a fan of live music this is a big weekend. There are 68 live music concerts to catch in the area. We've highlighted a few below to give a taste of some of the music.

Pine Leaf Boys


Louisiana's four-time Grammy-nominated Pine Leaf Boys are celebrated around the world for their inimitable brand of Cajun music and youthful exuberance.  This band plays Friday in Cedar Rapids.


Kids These Days


Up-and-coming Chicago-based band, Kids These Days, has a sound that transcends genres in a fresh and exciting way. Combining elements of rap, classic rock, blues, hip-hop, and jazz, Kids These Days partners powerful female vocals, vibrant horns, and unrelenting groove with a compelling rap sound. They perform Friday in Iowa City.


The Evan Stock Band Live Music and CD Release Event


Join us as the new, up and coming local band, "the Evan Stock Band" plays at Parlor City and celebrates the release of their new album! This happens Saturday in Cedar Rapids.


Kid Ink


Born and raised in Los Angeles, Kid Ink brings a new sound to Westcoast Music. With both parents raised from the Eastcoast, he mixed the best of both worlds into his rap style, production and lifestyle , creating a unfamiliar new sound from the Los Angeles area. He performs Saturday in Iowa City.


Missy Raines and The New Hip
