CEDAR RAPIDS — The Tanager Place Summer Fest will be held from 3:30 to 8:30 p.m. June 2 at the Rockwell Collins Sports Complex, along F Avenue and Collins Road NE.

This free family festival will have more than 75 activities, including a craft tent, safety town tent and a General Mills Make Your Own Cereal Tent.

St. Luke’s Hospital will have a bike helmet giveaway.

There will be a bike rodeo, miniature golf and entertainment, including a magician, dancers, band and music.

This is the 22nd year for this festival which raises awareness about Tanager Place, whose mission is to help children and families in need.

All proceeds from the festival benefit the program.
