The Coralville 4thFEST 2012 is upon us and there are plenty of events remaining to enjoy in S.T. Morrison Park. Below we highlight the free concert Tuesday night and events happening the next couple of days.
Lonestar – Free concert
Every year, Coralville’s 4thFEST celebration features a free community concert. This year they’re bringing Lonestar to the stage on Tuesday, July 3. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy a great night with your friends and neighbors.
Lonestar has become known for their country roots, but it’s hard to deny they have tons of crossover appeal with songs like “I’m Already There” and “Amazed,” the theme for this year’s 4thFEST parade. Other big Lonestar hits include “Let Me Love You,” “No News,” “Come Cryin’ To Me,” “Smile,” “What About Now,” and “Tell Her.”
Opening for Lonestar will be Iowa singer/songwriter Chad Elliott. He’ll take the stage at 6:30 p.m. and Lonestar will go on at 8 p.m.
