Gabe's will host comedy night on the first and third Wednesdays of each month

Gabe’s will begin hosting an independent stand-up comedy showcase this Wednesday, September 19, 2012

The Comedy Where Music Should Be Stand-Up Showcase,” (formerly held at The Summit the past 2 years) will be moving to a new, larger venue.

The details

  • Gabe’s
  • Cost: $3 for 21+/ $5 for underage patrons. No drink or food minimum.
  • First and third Wednesdays of each month
  • Doors open at 9:00 p.m. and the show starts at 10:00 p.m.
  • 90 minute shows

Started and managed by comedians for comedians, CWMSSS uses the classic comedy club format of an emcee, featured performer, special guest spot, and national headliner. CWMSSS performers include University of Iowa students, community members, the occasional local celebrity and professional traveling stand-up comedians as headliners.
