If you thought it was too cold today to throw back a few frosty ones. Well, you’d be wrong. At least the thousands who flocked ot Iowa City’s Northside Oktoberfest would disagree.
The beerfest ended at 4 p.m., but the Oktoberfest fun continues until 8 p.m. with live music, activities and fun for all ages.
The beer festivities continue Oct. 13 with the first Home Brew Festival at Benz Beverage Depot and Oct. 26 with the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library’s Brewnost.
