Warm up from the rain at Iowa City’s first Latino Festival from noon to 7:30 p.m. Saturday (10/13) in the ped mall. Taste authentic Mexican and Central American food including tacos and pupusas, feel the rhythm of live music from local Latin artists including Fourever Musical, IC Lokos, Lu y sus muñequitas, Agrigultor, Bachata Des Moines, ( they will offer a demonstration an class about how dance salsa and bachata), and witness the lively choreography of Danza Guadalupana de Allende Durango Mexico.

The event is family friendly and will be held, rain or shine, Saturday in conjuction with  National Hispanic Heritage Month.
