The Hood Internet will be performing at the Blue Moose Tap House for the Halfway to 10K show on Saturday, December 1st.

For the past five years, the laptop-wielding duo of STV SLV and ABX have been unscrewing indie, pop, rap, and R&B favorites and reassembling them with an unmistakable signature to create an array of fiery, volatile mixes and mashups; over 500 so far, in fact, resulting in millions of free downloads and an abundance of Hood love worldwide. You’ve seen Hood Internet at Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, SXSW, CMJ, Pitchfork’s #Offline, Mad Decent Block Party, and the Roots Picnic, and now they’ll be rocking Iowa City’s very own Blue Moose in the tap house’s uniquely high-spirited atmosphere.

Hood Internet’s latest album, FEAT, dropped in October and is the completely sample-free brainchild of dynamic vocal and instrumental collaborations, featuring artists such as Psalm One, Class Actress, Canadian poet laureate Cadence Weapon, and BBU. Like the Hood Internet themselves, the album combines a classic beat-centered sensibility with an unequaled curiosity for the new and innovative. Any music lover with a taste for adventure won’t want to miss the genuine Hood experience as the band reigns over downtown IC on what’s sure to be an epic Saturday night.
