Collin Raye will perform in Dubuque on Feb. 9

Reserved seats are nearly snatched up, but plenty of standing room remains for country hit maker Collin Raye at the Diamond Jo in Dubuque. Raye has been a fixture on the music scene since “Love, Me” in 1991 and kept topping the charts through the next decade with “In This Life,” “My Kind of Girl” and “I Can Still Feel You.” The hits kept coming with “On the Verge,” “One Boy, One Girl,” “What the Heart Wants” and “That Was a River.” His latest effort, released in October, wraps his golden voice around Christian standards and originals in “His Love Remains.” He also steers his stardom toward social causes for children, health care and family issues.
