IOWA CITY – Lindsey Buckingham has an impressive rock ‘n’ roll resume: Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Fleetwood Mac, a slew of awards and sold-out concerts around the world.
The musical force behind Mac’s wildly popular “Rumours” album and the innovative “Tusk,” he decided to go his own way in the ‘80s, weaving in and out of Fleetwood Mac since then. His solo efforts yielded the hits “Trouble,” “Go Insane” and “Holiday Road.”
His new phase of “internal success” brings contentment and peace to his sixth solo album, “Seeds We Sow.”
The new album showcases his full arsenal of skills. Fans will reap those rewards at the Englert on Sunday night.
Lindsey Buckingham performs at 8 p.m. Sunday at the Englert Theatre in Iowa City. The cost ranges from $45 to $55. More information at Englert.org.
