TAMA – L.A.’s rocking Lifehouse is bringing a string of Top 40 hits to this year’s Rockfest in the Meskwaki Casino’s Outdoor Arena, just off Highway 30, near Tama.
The all-ages concert begins at 6 p.m. Saturday, but the music will stretch well into the night with Fuel, Hurt and Puddle of Mudd rounding out the lineup.
“Hanging by a Moment” shot the band to stardom in 2001. Other hits followed, including “You and Me,” “First Time” and “Whatever it Takes.” Fuel will add plenty of hard-rock shimmer to the evening, along with alt-metal Hurt, dropping its “Ten Ton Brick.”
Puddle of Mudd won’t be in Kansas anymore, whirling up such hits as “Blurry,” “Psycho,” “Drift & Die” and “Away from Me.” It’s another chance to rock out before the concerts head indoors.
