CEDAR RAPIDS – Bob Dorr and The Blue Band are turning Black Friday into Blue Friday during the New Bohemia Community Radio (KNBO) fundraiser at Parlor City Pub. It’s a Black and Blue Geezer Gathering (for all ages) so unlace your shopping shoes and shimmy into your boogie shoes for a rockin’ good time from 3 to 7 p.m.

The Blue Band’s longtime friend Muddy Watson is coming out of semi-retirement to play bass and Dorr says several Cedar Rapids music stars are “threatening” to stop out and sit in. Sounds like a great way to tune in and turn on to this new radio service in Cedar Rapids — and shake that Thanksgiving stuffing off your hips.
