Jimmy Fallon did a bit with Dennis Haskins, the actor who played Mr. Belding on Saved By The Bell, Friday night.  The bit was an open petition to try to reunite the cast of cult-classic Saved By The Bell. Here’s the video.

The reason for Fallon’s attempt at a reunion between all the members of the cast is because this year is Saved By The Bell’s 20th anniversary.  Haskins is in favor of the reunion, but the actors who still need to commit are: Zack (Mark-Paul Gosselaar), Slater (Mario López), Screech (Dustin Diamond), Lisa Turtle (Lark Voorhies), Jessie (Elizabeth Berkley), Kelly (Tiffani Thiessen).

Let’s break down who’s coming back. Of those six, one has to figure that Diamond and Lopez would gladly go on Late Night because they come across as willing to do anything for publicity.  But the four other actors seem content with staying out of the spotlight, except for Mark-Paul Gosselaar who stars in the critically-acclaimed Raising the Bar.
