Where do you get your style inspiration from?
I think I actually lack in a lot of style. I would say that I get my inspirations from movies, musicians, magazines. I guess. I really don’t pay that close of attention to what other people wear as long as I think I look good in something, I will probably wear it.
Who are your style icons?
Mr. Rodgers, (comedian) David Cross and (actor) Paul Rudd.
What is your favorite local place to find amazing pieces?
The Cedar Rapids area really lacks in clothing stores for guys. Since I don’t wear those awful Ed Hardy or Affliction brand shirts there really isn’t a store.
What is your staple go to store for fashion finds?
I would say Gap, Banana Republic or J. Crew. I enjoy a simple comfortable style. The effortless classic would be an overall theme I guess.
What is one fashion item you cannot live without?
Chuck Taylor Converse
What item do you splurge on?
Sunglasses
What item do you skimp on?
Probably shoes. I will wear a pair of Chucks out till they fall apart.
What kind of fashionista are you?
If I had a nickel ever time someone asked me this… I would say vintage/designer label.
What fashion genre would you put yourself in?
Classic.
What he’s wearing:
Dark jeans from the Gap. A plain gray T-shirt from Banana Republic. A yellow jumper from American Apparel. Low top Converse All-Stars. And some classic Ray Ban sunglasses, “Risky Business” style.
