Broken Lizard
Saturday, November 7
Channel your comedy roots Saturday at The Englert with the likes of Broken Lizard. While these guys might not be household names, you’ll probably recognize some of their finest work — the cult-hit “Super Troopers,” the horror-comedy “Club Dread” and most recently “Dukes of Hazzard” and “Beerfest.” The group is on a nationwide sketch comedy tour where they bring together stand-up, live sketches, improv, original films and a chance to ask questions about their film experience. You’ll also get a taste of their latest projects — “The Slammin’ Salmon” and “Freeloaders” — both due out later this year.
